Join us for the New York launch of Act One: A Century in the Making and a conversation with six of the photographers whose work appears throughout the book:
Albert Watson · Eugene Richards · Darcy Padilla · Andrew Moore · Ken Light · Angela Strassheim
Together, they will discuss their work, the experiences and ideas that connect their photographs to Act One, and the role photography plays in documenting—and helping us understand—the world we are living through.
The panel will be followed by a book signing and an opportunity to meet the photographers and the team behind Act One.

The inaugural Act One exhibition brings the project from the book to the gallery walls.
Featuring approximately 266 photographs, the exhibition draws from the work of photographers represented throughout Act One, creating a visual journey through the conflicts, transformations, and defining questions of the century so far.
Join us for the opening reception and the first presentation of an exhibition that will continue to travel to venues in the United States and beyond.
